Frequently Asked Questions

How does the stake system work?

When you subscribe, your subscription fee becomes your "stake." Each day or week you hit your goals, you earn back a portion of that stake. At the end of each 30-day cycle, your total earn-back percentage is applied as a discount on your next subscription renewal.

How is my earn-back calculated?

Your earn-back is calculated based on how many goal periods you successfully complete. For daily goals, each day you hit your target earns back ~3.3% (1/30). For weekly goals, each week earns back 25% (1/4). The final percentage is rounded down to the nearest 10%.

When can I claim my earn-back discount?

At the end of each 30-day cycle, you'll see a "Claim" button in Settings if you've earned any discount. Claim it before starting your next cycle to apply the discount to your next renewal.

What happens if I delete a goal?

Deleting a goal forfeits the stake associated with that goal. You'll see a confirmation dialog before deletion. The forfeited amount is removed from your potential earn-back.

Why isn't my HealthKit data showing?

Make sure you've granted Commitment access to HealthKit data:

How do bedtime and wake time goals work?

These goals track when you went to sleep and woke up based on HealthKit sleep data. For bedtime, you pass if you were asleep by your target time. For wake time, you pass if you woke up by your target time.

Can I change my subscription tier?

Yes! Go to Settings > Subscription > Change Plan. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed through Apple:

What happens to my stakes if I cancel?

Your current cycle continues until it ends. Any earned discounts can still be claimed. After cancellation, you'll lose access to staking new goals but can still view your history.
